Combine Images
Add two or more pictures, put them in order, and choose side by side, stacked or a grid to join them into one image. Pictures are scaled to the same height side by side, or the same width when stacked, so nothing is stretched. Add spacing and a background colour, then download as JPG, PNG or WebP. Nothing is uploaded.

How to use Combine Images
- 1Add two or more pictures (up to 20).
- 2Use the arrows to put them in order.
- 3Choose Side by side, Stacked or Grid, and any spacing and background colour.
- 4Pick a format and download the combined picture.
How it works
Side by side, every picture is scaled to the height of the tallest one, keeping its proportions, and placed in a row. Stacked, every picture is scaled to the width of the widest. In a grid, each cell is the size of the largest picture and each picture is fitted and centred in its cell, so pictures of different shapes leave a little background showing.
Scaling to the largest picture keeps the best detail of your sharpest photo, but a much smaller picture is enlarged to match and may look soft. For the cleanest result, combine pictures of similar resolution.
Spacing is a percentage of the smallest picture's shorter side, so it looks the same whatever the resolution. The optional edge margin uses the same amount.
Browsers limit how large a canvas can be — Safari to about 16.7 million pixels. If the combined picture would be bigger, it is scaled down to fit and the tool tells you by how much.
Images are decoded by the browser, redrawn on a canvas and re-encoded on your own machine. Nothing is uploaded, so there is no waiting on a queue and no copy of your photos anywhere else.
Tips and common mistakes
- Crop pictures to the same shape first for a neat grid with no gaps.
- Use JPG for photos and PNG for screenshots or diagrams.
- A small gap (1–2%) separates pictures clearly without wasting space.
- Compress the result afterwards if it needs to fit an upload limit.
