How it works

Selected pages are copied into a new document in the order you chose them, which means extraction doubles as reordering: enter 5, 1, 3 and that is the order you get.

Pages keep their original size, rotation and content — nothing is re-rendered, so quality is identical to the source.

The file is read into your browser's memory, changed there, and handed straight back to you. Nothing is uploaded, so there is no queue and no copy sitting on a server afterwards.

Tips and common mistakes

  • List the pages in the order you want them. Typing 5, 1, 3 gives a new document in exactly that order.
  • Use thumbnails to pick pages visually when you are not sure of the numbers.
  • Choose separate files when each page is going to a different person, such as one payslip or certificate each.
  • Remember that ranges count positions in the file, not numbers printed on the pages.
