SVG to PNG Converter
To convert SVG to PNG, add the file, set the output width — the height follows the drawing's proportions — choose a transparent or white background, and download. The vector is drawn at exactly that size, so it stays sharp; about twice the display size suits high-density screens. External fonts and images in the SVG are not loaded.

How to use the SVG to PNG Converter
- 1Add the SVG file.
- 2Set the output width — the height follows the drawing's proportions.
- 3Choose whether the background stays transparent or becomes white.
- 4Render and download the PNG.
How it works
An SVG has no pixels at all; it is a set of drawing instructions. That is why it can be exported at any size without ever going blurry, and why the width you choose here matters: the drawing is rasterised at that exact size rather than blown up from a small bitmap.
Transparency is kept by default, which is what you want for a logo going onto a coloured background. Turning it off puts the drawing on white, which suits documents and slide decks that show transparency as a checkerboard.
One limitation is worth knowing. The drawing is rendered by the browser in isolation, so an SVG that pulls in an external image, an external font or a stylesheet will be missing those pieces. Embed them in the file first if the result looks wrong.
Images are decoded by the browser, redrawn on a canvas and re-encoded on your own machine. Nothing is uploaded, so there is no waiting on a queue and no copy of your photos anywhere else.
Tips and common mistakes
- Export at twice the size the image will be displayed at, so it stays sharp on high-density screens.
- Convert text to outlines in your drawing program first if a special font matters.
- Embed any linked images in the SVG before converting; external files are not loaded.
- Keep the transparent background for logos; switch to white for documents and slides.
